Alert and monitoring bots for Telegram
Bots that watch something for you and message you when it changes: a website that goes down, a feed that publishes, a price, a parcel, a server metric. Their whole job is to arrive on time.
01 / What they do
What these bots do
- Uptime checks.Ping a site or endpoint and alert you when it stops answering.
- Feeds and changes.Follow RSS feeds, blogs, release pages or a part of a website for changes.
- Social and channel feeds.Forward new posts from accounts or channels you follow into one chat.
- Server and app alerts.Receive alerts from your own monitoring through a webhook.
- Deliveries and bookings.Track parcels, appointments or availability and get notified when the status changes.
02 / Before you add one
Check before you add one
Read the permission request before you tap Add or Start.
- It can only message you after you start it.Telegram bots cannot open a conversation. If alerts stop, check that you have not blocked or deleted the bot.
- Webhook URLs are secrets.A bot that gives you a URL to post alerts to lets anyone with that URL post into your chat. Keep it out of public repositories.
- What it watches on your behalf.Monitoring private pages may need cookies or credentials. Prefer read-only tokens and never your main password.
- Noise and limits.Check the check interval and how many alerts it will send in a burst before it batches or mutes them.
